Beals Touring Gay Philly

Here's a little teaser for all you Jennifer Beals fans:
After speaking about 50 women at a professional luncheon, Beals toured two of the Mazzoni Center facilities, which provide LGBT health services. She asked questions ranging from the funding of Ryan White Care Act to how the centers get referrals and conduct outreach. Beals is starting to get a little wonkish in the arena of LGBT policy ... in a good way, of course.
The L-word veteran later said that she had never been this involved in politics before: "I've always harbored a distrust of politicians and I've met several and they didn't really convince me. It wasn't until I met Barack Obama and I heard him speak that I thought there was a possibility for change -- that somebody could actually change the paradigm or even the psychology of politics. That it's not just other people that are making decisions, not just corporations that are making decisions but that we all have to be included in that process."

Jennyfer Beals es una persona inigualable y si defiende la tesis de Obama es el mejor candidato debe merecer atencion especial, por sus criterios son de analisi profundo y de gran sensibilidad, aprecio sobremanera su opinion y me hace analisar la oportunidad de EEUU por su futuro inmediato y liderazgo hacia la complementacion Humana donde la discriminacion, por sexo, color, religion u opinion sean males del pasado para propender hacia una sociedad de madurez, donde la igualdad sea no solo retorica sino prevalescentes. Obama es un candidato que podria ser el factor de cambio y complementacion de una sociedad mas y mejor representada, ademas de los criterios solidos hacia donde debe conducir el destino de EEUU.

Yes, Jennifer Beals was in Philadelphia Thursday, April 17. I went to see her a Sisters a lesbian bar in Philly, but she was mobbed! And left. She was absolutely stunning!! I never got to get a pic. with her, but at least I got to see her in person. Again, for all her fans, she is so pretty in person. I will miss her on the L Word. I wish they would not take it off the air!
