San Rafael Stands Up

Colleen sends us some pictures of the Prop. 8 rally in San Rafael. Colleen writes: "The rally took place in front of San Rafael City Hall, on Fifth Street at the corner of D Street in downtown San Rafael, the county seat for Marin County, just north of San Francisco.  I was one of perhaps 100 demonstrators....both gay and straight, young and old, all protesting peacefully.  We listened to speakers and musicians, raised our own voices and signs, and felt great support from those who walked and drove by. Peace to you!"

I think we ended up with about 500 demonstrators in San Rafael. It was a great day!
