Ali Muhammed Brown, 29, was arrested Friday afternoon in West Orange, N.J. and charged in the hate-crime slaying of two men he met at a gay club in Seattle.

Dwone Anderson-Young, 23, and Ahmed Said, 27, were shot execution-style and their bodies left in a Seattle street minutes after the two men left a club with Brown on June 1. Police believe Brown met Said on a social-networking site, either Grindr or Jack'd, but chose to kill him and Anderson-Young specifically because they were gay.

Brown evaded police for nearly two months, heading back to his home state of New Jersey. He was caught after video surveillance confirmed he robbed a convenience store. Brown is also a convicted sex offender. Seattle police want to charge him with aggravated murder, where he could receive life in prison or the death sentence.
