Mark Berryhill (he/him)

Chief Executive OfficeR

Mark is leading the team to new goals and ventures with his strong background in journalism, video, marketing, and branded content. His career has taken him from reporting to running some of the most award-winning television newsrooms in Boston, San Francisco, and Pittsburgh. He has served as Vice President of News and Marketing for the Meredith Broadcast group and then founded Meredith Video Solutions, which took major brands like Better Homes & Gardens, Shape, and other media brands to television, digital video, and Branded content. Mark has served as a consultant for digital expansion to major publishers and Broadcast Groups and served as President and Chief Content Officer for his company Equal Entertainment. Mark is active in the queer and equality communities when it comes to charity work, mentoring, and speaking engagements.

He also serves on the Easterseals National Board of Directors. He is married; Daryl and Mark have five wonderful grown children who keeps them busy and active with the "Kids."


Joe Lovejoy (he/him)

Chief financial officer

Since 2013, Mr. Lovejoy has been CEO & Executive Producer for Equal Entertainment, the producer of the nationally syndicated entertainment program Celebrity Page TV (formerly OKTV). In this role, Lovejoy is responsible for all business, finance, and administrative functions for the company. Prior to joining Equal Entertainment, Lovejoy offered strategic and financial advisory services to the broadcast industry as President of Lovejoy Media LLC from 2011 to 2013. From 2004 through 2011, Lovejoy held multiple positions at Fisher Communications, a regional, publicly traded TV group.


Michael Kelley (he/him)

Co-Founder

Michael is an experienced media, marketing and business executive. The earlier incarnation of equalpride was started at a kitchen table in 2010 and has grown through acquisition and business focus on the LGBTQ+ space to be one of the most respected names in the community, media and entertainment.  Having run the media innovation practice of and serving as Brand Partner for PwC, Michael has architected the advertising offerings of AT&T, built the first model of Hulu and mobile activated P&G’s Olympic experience and repositioned PwC as a global brand following the collapse of Enron, Anderson, and public trust.  Michael is an author of All Thumbs—Mobile Marketing that Works (MacMillan, 2014) that is part of the Ad Age Book Series (first one on mobile marketing) and became one of Amazon’s top business books upon release in August 2014 and later, for the year.  Michael is active in the national Gun Safety Alliance leadership, innovated “Lock-up Sunday” in Churches across America and gives time and resources to many LGBTQ+ organizations. He splits his time between Provincetown, MA and New York City and is the father of two children and 1 stepchild.


Michel J. Pelletier (he/him)

Chief Marketing officer

Michel J Pelletier is equalpride’s CMO responsible for consumer marketing and brand development across all platforms. After graduating with a degree in Television & Broadcasting from CEGEP de Jonquiere in Quebec, Canada, Michel relocated to the U.S. to work in local TV News. While working at WSVN in Miami, FL, Michel discovered his passion for marketing & branding. After honing his writing and producing skills in TV news promotion in multiple markets (DC, Detroit, Atlanta), he moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to join the Warner Bros. marketing team to direct the launch TMZ TV in syndication. While at WB, he worked on multiple shows including TMZ Live, Judge Mathis, and the launch of the daytime talk show The Real. Michel’s marketing mantra is: content is king but marketing is queen! He is an avid traveler, foodie, and likes to attend electronic music events and festivals. 


Kayla Gagnet (she/her)

Kayla Gagnet is a recognized leader and strategist in the digital media sector, bringing nearly two decades of experience in the news industry. Having previously steered digital operations at The Times-Picayune and The Advocate, Kayla's contributions have been widely recognized. She has been decorated with the prestigious Green Eyeshade Award for breaking news coverage and notable acknowledgments by the Poynter Institute's Leadership Academy for Women in Digital Media and Editor & Publisher Magazine's Top 25 under 35.


Chris Go (he/him)

Chief of staff

Chris Go has 10+ years in business development, events, and partnerships. His career has weaved from health to hospitality, events to entertainment where he’s brought many brand collaborations to life to reach new audiences and create community. Most recently, he was Corporate Relations Manager at Outfest and Events Manager at YPO. He lives in Los Angeles with his partner Mark and their cat Margaux (a mashup of Mark and Go). You can find him in a hot yoga class, listening to podcasts, or planning his next trip to New York for Broadway shows.


Stuart Brockington (they/them)

EVP, corporate sales & partnerships

Stuart Brockington is the first nonbinary executive vice president of corporate sales & partnerships at equalpride. They have spent 23 consecutive years in marketing, sales, and brand partnerships for all advertising categories, and they are an advocate for diversity, inclusion, and belonging and for HIV visibility and awareness. Stuart has been with equalpride’s brands for over a decade and exceeded sales and revenue goals year-over-year while developing first-to-market LGBTQIA+ brand partnerships and activations for all major advertising holding companies, Fortune 500 companies and local agencies and clients. They were awarded salesperson of the year numerous times at equalpride’s brands, featured in Adweek's The New Publishers series in 2015, and a recipient of USA Today’s Advertising Impact award. Stuart is a co-creator of Pride 365- a LGBTQIA+ advertising, educational and marketing platform, which has been widely adopted and reported on by Digiday, Adweek, and Advertising Age.


Sonia Baghdady (she/her)

VP of women’s Programming

Sonia Baghdady is an Emmy Award, Associated Press & Telly Award-winning host and producer. She currently hosts Advocate Now on the Advocate Channel, bringing equality-focused interviews and topics to viewers. Prior to Advocate Now, Sonia hosted the nationally syndicated entertainment show Celebrity Page, giving viewers inside access to red carpets, celebrities and pop culture. Sonia also served as host for the daytime talk show The Juice on the national health & wellness network Z LivingThe Juice was a live lifestyle audience talk show squeezing in a fast-paced mix of celebrity guests, pop culture headlines, food, fitness, fashion, beauty and wellness.

Sonia began her career as a television news anchor and reporter, working for local affiliates including ABC, NBC and Cablevision. As a TV news anchor Sonia became a 5-time Emmy nominee and earned an Emmy Award for a consumer series she produced and hosted. In addition to being in front of the camera, Sonia also serves as VP of Women's Programming, as well as an Investor and Advisory Board Member for EqualPride Media. She also works behind the scenes with her production company, LUSHPOP Productions, producing ad campaigns and content for global companies such as Tiffany & Co., Revlon, Estee Lauder, MAC, Ralph Lauren and more.


Tracy E. Gilchrist (she/her)

VP, Executive producer of Entertainment, and Host

Tracy E. Gilchrist (she/her) is VP, Executive Producer of Entertainment and the host of Advocate Today on the Advocate Channel. She was the editor in chief of The Advocate from March 2020 to August 2022. During her tenure as EIC, she led The Advocate print team to win the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Magazine Overall Coverage for 2021. A media veteran, she writes about the intersections of LGBTQ+ equality and pop culture.

Gilchrist cocreated The Advocates podcast in 2017 and the virtual talk show Inside With the Advocate in 2020. A go-to moderator, she’s helmed discussions with the casts and directors of The FavouriteBooksmartEuphoriaPortrait of a Lady on Fire, Hightown, and more. In 2019, she hosted the official red-carpet livestream for Showtime’s The L Word: Generation Q premiere. Gilchrist has delivered her talk, Pandora’s Box to Pose: Gamechanging LGBTQ+ Visibility in Film and TV, at universities throughout the country.

She was named one of Mount Holyoke College’s alums to watch in 2020 and honored as one of AdWeek’s Pride Stars for 2022. Gilchrist is passionate about giving back to LGBTQ+ people and has participated in AIDS Lifecycle seven times, raising more than $35,000 to help end HIV/AIDS.


Tim Snow (he/him)

VP, Activations & Brand partnerships

Tim Snow is the VP, Activations & Brand Partnerships at equalpride. Tim obtained his MBA at Belmont University in Nashville. Tim works on several campaigns ranging from print to video. One of their recent successes was the Out at Night Bubly campaign and there are more to come. Originally from a small beach town on the outskirts of New Orleans named Long Beach, they went to Mississippi University where they got their B.S. in business. Tim loves costuming, playing the piano, running the foodie account @thesoutheats in his spare time. Tim will also unwind by doing a piano bar hour, you name a song, he will play your tune.


Marie-Adélina de la Ferrière (she/her)

Community Editor

Marie-Adélina de la Ferrière stands at the forefront as equalpride's Community Editor. A first-generation Haitian-American trans woman with a robust history of independent work as a communications and social media expert, she has tirelessly championed LGBTQ+ artists and performers, curating a rich portfolio that opened doors to collaborations with local arts and cultural organizations.

With a vibrant community engagement approach, Marie-Adélina infuses each project with a dynamic and innovative perspective. Outside her professional sphere, she harbors a passion for socializing and shopping and continually looks for new travel destinations. Her diverse interests and commitments echo her multifaceted approach to her role at equalpride, where she constantly strives to make a lasting impact.

Marie-Adélina holds a Master's degree in History and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit and Arts Administration from SUNY Brockport
